This is one of very few plays performed
a second time by the Players (it would be revived in the Spring
of 1997) so I guess it must have been a good one.
Once again, the only pictures that we have come to us
by courtesy of the Fairlight WI, who not only identify the cast members
pictured, but also give us a brief snatch of the dialogue.
Presumably the compiler of the scrapbook did not have access
to a programme, since the names of three of the four characters are
mis-spelt.
We can't blame the WI for giving Mr. Warden the wrong initial,
since it was mis-typed in the programme. He should, of course,
be Edward T and not E.J. Warden, although he was,
apparently, always known as "Sam", so explain that one for me if you
can.
