The action takes place in the living room of the Royds' cottage in Throppleton over a period of three days in September.

Sadly, we have very little information about this play, but we note that the cast includes no less than four new acting members (Gerry Groom, Susan Kiddle and John & Nanette Chambers) each taking to the amateur stage for the very first time, under the leadership of a new producer, Leslie G. Fawkes.

We have no information about an autumn production, and would welcome enlightenment if anybody can tell us whether there was one. Perhaps everybody was still too busy celebrating our victory in the World Cup. The programme does, however, indicate that a Summer Party is to be held, at which two one-act plays would be performed. Clearly there are one or two gaps in our generally most impressive archive collection, but at least it leaves some scope for our amateur sleuths to investigate.
