The action of the Play passes in the drawing-room of the old house on Beau Rivage Plantation in the oil country of Louisiana.

This play is the first outing for Jim Jeffrey as producer, having been involved with the Players for the last three years. It appears that the Players were going through a tough time in some respects. The programme includes a plea for more acting members, especially younger ones, and back-stage helpers. Nevertheless, no less than 50% of the 8 strong cast are making their debut performance in this play.
