The time: Maybe quite soon?

One of these young ladies bears a striking resemblance to an ex-girlfriend of mine, but I'm not telling you which one, nor in what state of dress or undress the resemblance is most apparent. Anyway, this is clearly a play which will have tested the powers of concentration, certainly of the male cast members, and Bert Moore, writing in the programme in his capacity as Chairman of the Fairlight Players, expresses appreciation for a number of new faces within the cast. Yes, I'm sure it was the faces that most people will remember.

Two familiar names make a first appearance in the programme. June Dyer (props & decor) and Freda Hatch (wardrobe) will both go on to make a significant contribution to the life of the Fairlight Players, but on this occasion, both opt to remain decidedly behind the scenes.
