The action takes place in the drawing room of a house in Tilling, a small town in the South of England during July, August and September.

A challenging production brings new talent to the Players as Nan McCubbin and Jennifer Annetts join the cast for the first time. Meanwhile, behind the scenes, John Veness lends Jim Duffy a hand with the lighting, and Andrew Mier takes over at the sound desk leaving Keith Jellicoe free to take holy orders on stage.

The production was very well received, and not only by the audience. Shortly after the performances a congratulatory letter (see bottom of page) was received from the Secretary of the E.F. Benson Society ... and if he says that we "caught the spirit", he should know what he us talking about!
