Blow Wind, Blow

by Carol Prior

Blow wind blow,
H2O,
Rattling through the gulleys,
Gushing up the streams,
Splashing down the chimneys,
Murmuring in our dreams,
Pattering on roof and door,
Trickling through marsh and moor.
Pounding cliffs of chalk and lime,
Turning dry earth into slime.
Blow wind blow,
H2O
