You can dance to the fiddle And march to the drum You can jig to the piccolo And to the harp you can hum
In Spain the play castanets While fishermen sit and mend their nets The men play their guitars at a very fast tempo While the girls swirl their fancy skirts to the flamenco
In London the pubs have a piano that tinkles Whilst on Sunday it's time to eat their cockles and winkles
The church organ is one of the very best To play hymns at weddings and gatherings And to lay people at rest
There are so many forms of music, it is hard to express But the last night of the Proms is sure to impress The Royal Philharmonic has it all Music, singing, excitement and tradition Until the very last curtian call
