Post-Christmas, Words!

by Keith Jellicoe
The challenge to our members on this occasion was to write a poem containing 10 randomly chosen words. The words were as follows: Google, Anagram, Difficult, Patience, Remember, Weather, Bicycle, Small, Hesitation,  Question. This is one of two efforts by Keith ... as always, displaying a very "individual" approach.

Well Miss I know this Christmas, you've been having a ball
but this problem you ignored, considering it small.

You tried to be clever, taking short cuts by default
so surprising – the normal route not at all difficult.

Those waiting for replies could be long suffering relations
you not at all worried - whilst they could be losing their patience!

For goodness sake you knew it was December
there's no excuse just to say “Sorry, don't remember”!

How you didn't notice that massive great icicle
that caused so much damage to our Post Office bicycle.

Your delivery, already overdue at your destination
but you took your decision without hesitation.

The load wasn't heavy – in fact as light as a feather
any sensible person would take account of the weather.

You should have been sensible & ride on through congestion
but the way you went, it was out of the question!

A check on the route would shout out, as clear as a bugle
you should know that from just one click onto Google!

In fact it'd been quicker to send an old Telegram
for with only 10 words to deliver, sorry 10 letters, so surprising when one considers your name being.........
Miss...... Ana Gram!
