| For
the autumn 2012 meeting of the Poetry Group, members were encouraged to
write a poem on the subject of the weather, perhaps reflecting on the
lovely hot summer that we didn't have this year. |
There’ll always be weather, whatever the weather;
Whether we like it or not,
And when we’re together we’ll talk about weather,
Whether we like it or not.
So there’ll always be weather so let’s talk about weather,
Whether we like it or not, sometimes it’s wet, sometimes it’s cold and sometimes uncomfortably hot.
There’ll always be weather, whatever the weather, whether we like it or not;
There’ll always be weather….. it really is time that I stopped!
