Roland Garrad took to the director's chair for the first time in five years to direct this thriller from the Pen of Norman Robbins. The script provided as many twists as a helter-skelter, and audience members were kept guessing as to the identity of the murderer (or is that murderers?) until the final few minutes.

Bex Prior gave a masterful performance in her first leading role. Meanwhile, three cast members, namely Pauleen McLaughlin, Emily Belfield and April Kitney, made their debut for the Players in this production. Whilst Pauleen has been known to tread the boards at the Stables Theatre and elsewhere, for Emily and April this was a totally new experience (although April did play a small role in our recent Murder Mystery evening). Both acquitted themselves with honours, and we hope to see more of all three ladies in the future.

On the male side of the cast, father and son team, Keith and Tom Miller enjoyed great interplay ... it's always fascintaing to see which one of them will get the upper hand ... while Greg Slaughter, along with his stage wife, Pauline, provided many of the lighter moments.

We were also delighted to have April's sister, Laura Kitney, assisting with the props, allowing Margaret Hall, for the first time in many years, to watch the performance from the auditorium.
